The university has a long history of accepting students from Iran on to a range of courses.

Although some courses have specific requirements for entry, Northumbria will consider any qualification for entry to its courses.

International Foundation Programme 3 year High School Diploma (Nazari or Fani Herfei) Average mark of 14/20
1st Year Undergraduate 3 year High School Diploma (Nazari or Fani Herfei) plus one year pre-university programme (Peeshdaneshgahe) Minimum mark of 14/20
2nd Year Undergraduate Associate Degree (Kardani/Fogh Diplom) Minimum mark of 14/20
Postgraduate Programmes Bachelor Degree (4 Years) Licence or Karshenasi Average mark of 13/20 for courses requiring a UK 2:2 equivalent

Average mark of 15/20 for courses requiring a UK 2:1 equivalent
Graduate Certificate Bachelor Degree (4 Years) Licence or Karshenasi Average mark of 10/20

Decisions for entry will also be based on personal statements, previous study information and not just your final course grading.
