Hello everyone! I'm Kat, a 23-year-old student here at Northumbria University, pursuing a degree in International Business Management with Spanish. After a sunny year abroad in Spain, I've returned to the rainy charm of Newcastle, ready to dive into the final chapter of my academic journey.
Originally from the Czech Republic, I moved here for university. People always ask me why I chose to study in Newcastle, and I always answer with three simple reasons: the beach (a big deal for me coming from a landlocked country!), the vibrant nightlife, and a program that lets me combine my love for languages with business studies.
Besides learning languages, I have many other hobbies. I am a plant lady and yoga enthusiast, I love painting and pottery, and I am also a member of the Northumbria Athletics Club. Although I am undoubtedly a cat person, I do appreciate any animal companion. Fun fact, I used to have pet rats when I was younger :)
I also love travelling and exploring different cultures. I've been sharing my adventures on social media for as long as I can remember, but it was only about a year ago that I discovered my passion for creating aesthetic videos and showcasing my travels and lifestyle. I'm excited to share my creative side with you all, bringing fresh content about life in Newcastle and my experiences at Northumbria University. Stay tuned!
