New 2/05/2024 - Adobe Education Institute Event Week - June 10th to June 14th.
Open to all faculty, staff and trainers and is an invitation-only conference for Adobe global Adobe Creative
Campus institutions, which is a very select group of 6 in the UK (we were
number 3).
Through a series of live,
hands-on training sessions, participants will discover ways to deepen student
engagement and foster multi-modal teaching using Adobe technology. All sessions
will be delivered remotely and recorded for on-demand access. You must register
to be able to see the recorded sessions.
Sessions are 90 minutes and
will cover the following topics:
- Intro to Adobe Express in Higher Education
- Teaching with Generative AI and
Firefly
- Productivity with Acrobat
- Publish Papers and Essays
- Designing Presentations
- Storytelling with Video
- Create Portfolios, Resumes, and CVs
- Create Podcasts with Adobe Audition
- Digital Imaging with Generative AI
- Create Graphs and Visualize Data
The event will also include
office hours, an optional showcase, and an opportunity to receive badging and
an “Adobe Education Institute Fellow” credential.

is very positive, a specialist runs the sessions, you get the opportunity to
create using exercise files, ask questions, and then submit your creation to
win freebies, and get a badge. These events are offering more – a fellowship
certificate.
Adobe hosts a series of Professional Development sessions, called Academic
Essentials. These are 90-minute online sessions where you can register for
free!

All Northumbria University students will now be able to
access Adobe Express Premium, a cloud-based content creation platform that is quick and
easy to use.
All staff can access Adobe Express Premium and download other applications within Adobe Creative Cloud.
Please conduct a keyword search on the Staff Portal using "Adobe" to find detailed articles explaining how to download Adobe Creative Cloud on both University and Personal Devices.

- On open access computers on campus or your own device:- https://new.express.adobe.com/
- Select the Continue with Email option,
- Use your university email address,
- Then select Company or School Account.
or from 1/11/2023 try the Single Sign On (SSO) http://express.adobe.com/a/northumbria.ac.uk
Or using your own devices via the app downloaded from your App store.
Adobe Express - Premium launched 1/5/2024. If you have the old version you will need to update to see all the new AI functions.
