Mahdi’s research interests focus on decision making under uncertainty and developing computationally efficient modelling and solution methods for mixed integer programmes. He has worked on various applications including healthcare, energy, logistics and supply chain.

Dr. Mahdi Noorizadegan is a senior lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Department of Operations, Marketing and Systems. Prior to the current position, Mahdi was a faculty member in Niroo Research Institute, Tehran, Iran. Mahdi did his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering in Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran. He received his PhD on Operational from Warwick Business School, the University of Warwick, UK.

Mahdi’s research interests focus on decision making under uncertainty and developing computationally efficient modelling and solution methods for mixed integer programmes. He has worked on various applications including healthcare, energy, logistics and supply chain. He has taught a wide range of courses including international operations management, Operations and Integrated Supply Chain and Marketing Management, discrete even simulation, optimisation in economics and finance and linear algebra.
