Dr Greg Ludwig

Greg Ludwig, PhD, is Assistant Professor in Strategic Management in the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy (EIS) Department at Newcastle Business School. He conducts research at the intersection between dynamic capabilities, strategic innovation, emerging markets, and theories of knowledge. He has published in various journals including Town Planning Review, Thunderbird International Business Review, and Local Economy. He serves as a regular reviewer for the Journal of Management and Organization (JMO), among other journals. Joining Newcastle Business School in 2005, he held various leadership positions, including International Partnerships Co-ordinator, and Programme Leader for the MSc Business with Management, more recently Deputy Director of Education for Undergraduate Studies (EIS). Greg was Visiting Professor at Heilbronn University for a number of years and, having lived and worked in Germany, France, Spain and the UK, speaks four languages fluently. Greg has a proven track record as Principal Advisor, supervising PhD projects successfully to completion, and is pleased to talk to potential Ph.D students with interesting proposals in the areas of dynamic capabilities, innovation, or knowledge discourse.
