Adss David Kennedy Staffprofile 255 (1)David is the Director of the Brain, Performance and Nutrition Research Centre and is Professor of Biological Psychology. His own PhD examined the cognitive and mood effects of administration of a range of herbal products. Since that time he has published a wide range of journal articles and book chapters covering research into the cognitive effects of herbal and dietary supplements, glucose, caffeine, and recreational drugs.

Current teaching at Northumbria University includes Psychobiology at undergraduate level, and 'Diet, Brain and Behaviour' at MSc level (Nutrition and Psychological Sciences MSc).
