Dr Mahmoud Abdelrahman

Dr Mahmoud Abdelrahman is a Senior Lecturer of information management and business analytics and The Director of Advanced Practice Programme. He completed his PhD in “Knowledge Management Systems” and his MSc. in “Information Systems, Organisations and Management” at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester. Mahmoud is a consultant, an educator and scholar on the “User Acceptance views of New Technologies” and its applications in different businesses. Mahmoud has more than 20 years of academic experience including journals, book chapters and conference publications research projects, supervising and examining several PhD, DBA, MBA, MSc and UG projects. Mahmoud also engaged in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, managerial training, consultation, and leading advanced practice programmes at different universities around the world in the UK, Germany, and the Middle East. Mahmoud also is a visiting academic and an external examiner at different universities in the UK, EU, a reviewer at different highly ranked journals, member of Association of Information Systems, Academy of Management and is a Fellow of UK Higher Education Academy.

My principal research interests lie in the field of Technology Acceptance, Digital Business, Business Analytics, Knowledge Sharing, Information Management, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management Systems, Decision Making, Business Technology and Business & Climate change towards "NET ZERO" emissions. I investigated the impact of employing digital business & Business Analytics: knowledge management systems techniques to share knowledge and support decision-making processes in multinational corporations. Moreover, I am interested and have created different models regarding investigating and exploring the acceptance & the use of Autonomous delivery vehicles (ADVs) and linking it with different areas like: Covid-19 and Pandemic times, Logistics & Last mile delivery and Business & Climate change towards "NET ZERO" emissions.
