Law professional courses

Information for students wishing to apply to professional law courses.

Students applying for Professional Law Courses should do the following:

  • For the Legal Practice Course (LPC*) / Common Professional Examination and the Graduate Diploma in Law (CPE/GDL) you should apply directly to the Law Central Applications Board (www.lawcabs.ac.ukat least 6 months in advance of course start.
    *LPC applicants must also register with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
  • For the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) you should apply directly to The Bar Councilwww.barcouncil.org.uk at least 9 months in advance of course start.

For Full-Time, UK/EU self-financing students, we are happy to offer the option of spreading the cost of your course over up to ten* months throughout the year interest free.
