Why did you choose Northumbria University?The course had amazing student satisfaction rates and all modules interested me.
What has impressed you most about living in Newcastle and this region?
The student culture, there is always something going on. It's also the friendliest place I have ever visited.
Did you find Northumbria University welcoming?
It was very easy fitting in, especially with like-minded people on the course.
What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?
Everything, I love the city that it is based in and the resources such as the Library and other 24-hour facilities.
Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?
The lecturers, they are willing to help you whenever they have a spare minute.
Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?
Everyone that has already graduated, you hear of students in jobs in the local area, it's nice to know that the employment rate is high.
What is your favourite place on campus?
The Students' Union!
Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects?
I haven't joined a team because the workload for my degree is quite large. However I do use the University's sports facilities to swim quite often!
What is the best thing about your course?
The ability to specialise in the final project.
What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?
Other than the skills developed academically... Just how to live away from home (and parents!)
What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?
Specialise in energy or renewables. Hopefully move permanently to a city!
If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?
Definitely live in halls, and don't leave your work until the last minute!
How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University?
Far more confident.

Challenging, fun, and interesting.
