Full-time Undergraduate Scholarships for EU Students in 2018/19

Northumbria University is committed to supporting EU students with outstanding academic ability.  Scholarships available for students joining an undergraduate programme in academic year 2018/19 are outlined below.

EU Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships

The University will offer scholarships of £2,000 to students from EU member states who meet specific academic criteria and successfully enrol on a full-time undergraduate programme.  Please note that scholarships are only available to students who are ordinarily resident in an EU member state outside the UK.  EU citizens who are already living in the UK cannot benefit from this scheme. 

Scholarships will be paid to students in three instalments,  25% in November 2018, 25% in February 2019 and 50% in May 2019.  There is no need to submit a separate application for this scholarship.  All EU students who successfully enrol at the University will be automatically assessed and scholarships awarded to those who meet the academic criteria shown below.

Cyprus (EU) Apolytirion  with an overall grade of 19

Hungary Érettségi (High School Leaving Certificate) with an overall grade of 4

I am Northumbria Global Scholarship 

The University will be awarding scholarships of up to £9250 to EU undergraduate students joining the University in September 2018.  All you need to do is produce a 30 second video which will be shared via the University’s social media channels.  Only students who hold an offer for an Undergraduate programme starting in September 2018 will be able to compete for these high value scholarships.*  Please submit an application through UCAS to ensure you are eligible for this scheme. 

*Students who are successfully awarded the I Am Northumbria Global Scholarship will become ineligible for the EU Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship.
