Tailored Summer Programmes

Background:

After successfully delivering Northumbria International Summer School (NISS) the last couple of years, we are now ready to offer our exclusive tailored summer programmes. We aim to deliver courses that are both challenging and original for our students.

Programme:

We are extremely keen to receive new ideas from partners who may wish to collaborate with us. We can also modify our programmes; adjusting the topics, duration and composition to meet the needs of your group.

We have a dedicated NISS team who can help you design a bespoke programme including academic programme, module field trips, welcome/farewell events and social programme.

Below are some examples of our bespoke programmes:

  • Research Methods - collaborating with students from UNAM (The National Autonomous University of Mexico). This module allows students to explore their critical thinking, personal reflection and project management skills.
  • Newcastle - History, Literature and Culture: In partnership with the University of Minnesota, this module functions as a lens to explore British history and culture during the 19th and early 20th century.
  • Bidding for Business! Tourism in the North-East of England: In partnership with ESC Clermont Graduate School of Management in France, this module focuses on the development of core English language skills for international students, whilst increasing knowledge of tourism as a strategy of development.
