Develop Your Workforce Event Series

Join us at our series of employer events focusing on how Northumbria can help organisations with their workforce development. 

The events will look at the opportunities we provide for organisations to enhance their workforce via Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Short Course specialist training within: 

  • Architecture, Built Environment and Construction

  • Financial and Legal Services

  • Health, Sport and Social Care

  • Leadership and Management

Each event will provide an opportunity to find out more about how Northumbria can help your employees from either a standard advertised course or bespoke programme designed specifically for your organisations training requirements.

Up and Coming Seminars 

Architecture, Built Environment & Construction - 27 June

Join us for a breakfast event on Thursday 27 June, 8am - 10am, and learn more about our Architect or Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship programmes, and how your business could benefit.

Break-out sessions will be delivered by our academic programme leads and will include a Q&A so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. There’ll also be an opportunity to network to talk further with our staff, and find out more about other workforce development opportunities such as CPD and short courses.

Financial and Legal Services (Newcastle) - 3 July

Join us on Wednesday 3 July for breakfast and networking at our Develop Your Workforce Newcastle Event which will focus on opportunities within Financial and Legal Services. 

We will inform you about our portfolio of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships within Financial and Legal Services alongside details of our CPD and Short Course programmes. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about how our courses operate and discuss your workforce development requirements so we can explore the best options for your organisation.

Employer Apprenticeship Breakfast Briefing - 7 March

We hosted our Employer Higher and Degree Apprenticeship Breakfast Briefing on 7 March 2019 in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week.  

During the session a panel made up of employers, apprentices and academics discussed how higher and degree apprenticeships work and the benefits to organisations who are looking to invest in them. A summary of our session can be heard below from some of our key panel members.
