Rachel Williams

Assistant Professor

Department: Architecture and Built Environment

I studied law and legal practice at Bristol University, the University of Caen, France and Nottingham Trent University before heading to London to train as a solicitor.  I worked as a solicitor for eight years specialising in planning law and commercial property.  

My only claim to fame is that I negotiated a planning agreement for the then ‘Big Brother House’.  I joined the university as a senior lecturer in 2007 and I am now the programme leader for MSc Real Estate Management and MSc International Real Estate Management.
