Caroline Hood

Assistant Professor

Department: Northumbria Law School

Caroline Hood is an Assistant Professor in the School of Law.  She joined Northumbria Law School in 2007 as a qualified solicitor, having trained at Thompsons Solicitors in Newcastle.

Her main teaching role is as a solicitor, supervising students in the award-winning Student Law Office at Northumbria University.

Her research interests are in the field of legal apprenticeships, social mobility and widening participation. She is currently studying towards a professional doctorate.
