Dr Goran Erfani

Goran Erfani is a research fellow; having joined the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Northumbria University working with Dr Gemma Wilson-Menzfeld on digital poverty in North Tyneside. Prior to this role, Goran worked as an associate lecturer and research fellow at the Newcastle Business School working on the digital adoption project using a Randomised Control Trial (RCT) design (2019-2020). Dr Erfani completed a PhD at the University of Newcastle in 2018 in the field of Urban Studies and Planning followed by a role as Research Associate at the University of Sheffield. His doctoral research centred on people-place relations in general as a conceptual basis for investigating participatory urban redevelopment experiences in particular. His past professional experience includes working as a researcher with the Research, Analysis and Forecasting team at RIBA Enterprises, where their team were focusing and working with Big Data related to the construction market in the UK.
