Dr Michael Deary

Associate Professor

Department: Geography and Environmental Sciences

Michael -DearyResearch covers three main areas: reactions of peroxides in aqueous solution, air quality and land contamination.  The work on peroxides has yielded over 20 publications and dates back to 1987; it has covered selective analytical techniques for peroxide determination, catalysis by cyclodextrins and catalysis by borate and carbonate. Air quality is an emerging area of interest and includes dispersion modelling in contrasting geographical areas and monitoring.
